i have a 90 yoda p/u with the 22re it has around 200k on it and it just recently warped the head, blew the head gasket something like that.. and i am probally going to rebuild the whole motor since it needs new rings anyways and was curious where you guys bought your engine kits and whats the best brand to use?? i got this website from some of my buds on a ford forum and they also suggested these people from engnbldr.com any info is appreciated... i looked into getting a yard motor and all them are 130k+ looks like i would have close to the same money in a rebuild or a yard motor... any input is appreciated... what did the rebuilds cost you guys??

engnbldr.com is a great place, but you should be able to find a used 120-150k motor for under 300 bucks. i just picked one up for 150.

i am located in ringgold ga...i heard the 22re are getting rarer to find in good shape in a yard... i will prolly keep the truck but not really looking to do a engine swap.. just looking to get it back on the road.. it was my daily driver while i fixed my hobbie cars.. now its down and driving my blower car everywhere is getting old quick...
