I brought a 2001 white LC in May'06 for $19500 (69K). Dealer was asking $23,000 but the vehicle was stink with cigrette smoke. I take out an extended warranty for 3 yr/36k Miles for $1800. I have all the records, the vehicle was lease to a corp for 4 yrs and all the maintenance was done at the dealer. According to records in the vehicle the LC was leased for $868 per month(Ouch). The only thing that was done according to the records was passenger side exhaust manifold was changed and one O2 sensor was changed at 38K Miles. All oil changes and annual inspections was also done at the dealer.
After about 3 complete cleaning of the interior I can finally say that after 5 months the cigrette smell is almost gone and I can live with that.
