Hello all! I finally after all the years of looking, finding, and not having the money at the time..... I am now the very proud owner of one 1986 hj60 auto!!!! pretty much bone stock, not to rusty, and pretty tight if i must say. the 2h has 309,000 on it and is still good and torqie( glow plugs don't seem to be working right though). I am Looking forwrd to doin some off roading as soon as i get ride of the a/t's and get some m/ts on there. would like to hook up with some cruisers out of port alberni or duncan, we live on the reserve at nitinaht lake. Looking for all the adivice and info i can get. first time i have ever "owned"(lots of time working with them) a diesel, so tips and tuning tricks would be awsome.

I Bloody well love it out here! I was born for the bush and a quite way of life. I have been able to go exploring/4x4ing anytime i want with only a 15 min drive, it rocks. I havn't got to try wingsurfing or kite boarding yet. we moved out here at the begining of the school year, thats kinda when everything dies off. Sure looking forward to it though. Does anyone every come out this way for 4x4 porposes? has anyone made it from one end of the island to the other on gravel? is there a route?
