Hello all,
Been reading this forum and Slees before purchasing an 01 LX470, 78k. in Nov 06. Took a 1000mi ski trip with the family to Utah 6 weeks later and was really happy with the ride on the freeway and the confidence in the snow and ice. Being able to lower the height to get into the the garage area with the ski racks on, adjust the suspension for the mountain roads and just having fun trying to break the truck loose in the snow. Yes, I wanted to play with all the switches to see that they worked. Now I don't wanna drive anything else.
Now for some issues:
I have that body lean towards the drivers side. Started with about 3/4" diff, was able to get most of it out by adjusting the links in the slots of the sensor brackets and cranking the LH torsion bar up and the RH down to the max limits but the handling seems to have suffered. I would like to check the hyd. pressure but don't know where to get the proper tool and adapter.
2nd, I've got some grayish grease splatter coming from the RH upper CV joint boot. Is this a front differential oil seal leak mixing with the CV grease or just a loose boot clamp. Will look into finding clamps and tool previously posted if you fellas think its not the oil seal.
3rd, and finally, the air conditioner has an adjustment for noxious fumes, is +3 for more sensitivity?
Thanks to all and will post pics. later
