Ok it is almost new years day and time for another new years run. We wouild like to have snow but from what i here that might not be happening. Where do we want to go. Cam and myself have almost finished welding my frame and installing my sliders. We have some people who would like to go to mt. Sicker. Myself i am just happy going anywhere. But i do not know any trails up island. So post up who's going and where do we want to go. Millstream timmys at 9:00 would be a good starting point.

Count my wife and I in for the New Years Run.

Mt Sicker sounds cool but I am up for anything.

What say the others?

Crap, it looks like I am going to conquer Mt Sicker at another time. Unfortunately, work has called and I will not be here on the 1st.

Have a good run.

I heard the gates were open at shawnigan so Dingo and i went to check it out and found a little snow.So if Sicker doesnt work out we could try Shawnigan.

Since the always-present chance that my front end will fall apart is now decreased, I'm in.

Anywhere is fine for me. I know I'm in the minority, but I would rather go somewhere without snow. :flipoff2:

I'm in the same boat as Morgan, not super keen on snow....also 9am:frown:....

Oh yeah frame repaired and sliders on. Thank you cam and the great crusty for his old sliders. I hope they are having a great new year down under.

I am i where are we going y driver will pick me up so I am fine with anything I would like a real hard trail to start the new year. see you all soon.

Well we all met at Timmy's at 9.00 and decided that Shawnigan would be quicker and closer. When we got to the start of gravel we met a big group that told us the gates were locked and they were going to Sicker so we decided to go to Skutz. Had lots of fun playing on the woop de doos, one tire decided to leave the rim and someone lost a bumper corner. It poured with rain and the trail soon became a river other than a slight bit of snow up higher. We set up a big tarp and cooked up a mess of burgers and dogs on two bbq's. All in all a great way to spend new years day.

couple more.... Thanks for a great run guys! Good to meet the Rover folks, I'd love to see your pics! Missed the Crusty's for sure (and the Stumps too if you guys read this:)). I have a quarter panel to repair now, as well as my OBA compressor, and then some rear sliders to protect the quarters. Happy New Year everyone!!
