...nothing :( Sorry to get your hopes up :whoops:

As you all know, the supercharger is the same for all 5.7L engines, it's just the fitment kit and programming that matter. Here's the somewhat good news. TRD is releasing the Sequoia fitment kit in September. That means that we're next!

I talked to TRD and this is what you ALL need to do that are interested:

Call TRD at (800) 688-5912 and tell them you are very interested in this kit. According the the rep I spoke with, TRD monitors calls regarding customer needs. If enough people want it, then TRD may expedite the process to get it to market.

So call and tell them you want a 550 lbs. of torque in your 200 series ASAP!!!

damn you, JB...i was squealing like a little girl when i saw this thread!!!

i will certainly call (as well as anyone else i can talk into it), but i fear that the numbers aren't there for the engineers to work on this. you can't kick over a rock without finding a sequoia under it, but i've only seen THREE other LC 200s since i bought mine. sorry, but i would bet we won't see this until the 2010 model year (if enough 2009s sell).

and yes, i too NEED a 550ft/lb SUV! you never know when you might need to tow a yacht up Mt Everest!

With most of the kit complete, you would think Toyota would finish it up for the LC and LX vehicles.

i think clearance is the issue. the sequoia/tundra engine bay is MUCH larger than the LC. with firewalls and hoods in the way, it probably won't be a matter of changing a few peices.

I have gotten 2 tickets in the past 6 months....screw the supercharger!! (until they come out with it!)

Really? So have I...

I've never had a ticket before last month. BOTH times I WAS NOT speeding either. I was singled out in a group on the highway all traveling at the same speed. The officer claimed to clock me at 85 in a 65. I had a garmin GPS on my dash running a log because of what happened the last time. I downloaded the log and I was actually only going 70...but with traffic. It was on I-10 and it just changed from a 75 a mile before and in another mile would have been 75 again.

Seriously...I know I was singled out. Now I have to drag my ass back into court and fight this one. It's a waste of my time and seriously hinders my respect for officers.

Look on the positive side, he was probably in the market for a LC and felt that was the only way to get a closer look inside without a pushy salesman.

He should have just given you a warning.

You know, that's a great idea. I'm totally going to argue that in court! Put him on the spot :p

Guys, I read a thread on tundrasolutions forum. It appears that arnd dozen users of new TRD superchargers for Tundra/Sequoia 5.7 have big problem. The vehicle would behave really bad in cold weather conditions. Some of them are waiting months for TRD to address this issue but nothing yet, so I would wait for a while and let them fix it.

You got it installed in a LC 200???? or your tundra??
