We ran everything out there in just a couple of hours including V-Ditch and Coby creek without hardly an issue.

I think we'd all like to see some new trails out there so I've started laying the groundwork for something in the early fall, a trail-cutting/firewood/work weekend or something. I Don't really have a plan in mind other than something new and perhaps adding some challenge back into the place.

ideas? thoughts?

Will keep you posted on permission progress but doesn't seem that it will be a problem right now.

I think this is a great idea, I didn't know how easy V-ditch and Colby Creek would be :)

I thought so at first too but looking at some pics some 2008 it's gotten deeper, not necessarily easier. Our perspective and trucks have changed probably more than V-ditch is what I'm thinkin'

Coby Creek, now that i would argue has gotten easier. There used to be a big rock on the left about haf way up that fell a couple years ago, changed the entire trail.

Just make sure we have some muddy sections that always stay muddy. :)

Are there anymore creek beds or hollows on the property? I'd be interested in helping scout & clear for new trails.

I know of at least 1 true creek bed that already has a trail. If you remember there's one at the very bottom of V-ditch. If you turn right and go up the creek it goes a few hundred yards and then turns right up an out of the bottom. Josh and I were talking about it the other day and we both think it's possible to continue up the creek and could make for a good trail. Josh was thinking it was pretty tight and since i don't really remember we'll put that on the list to check out.

There's also the bottom below the dam but I don't thing we can do much with that, it floods in really heavy rain and the creek is just too bid and deep to do anything.

attached is a topo map of the property. It's way old and a lot has changed but should good for reference.
