i am new to this, and i would like to join. picked up my rig last weekend, and i am excited to get into it.

Welcome dude... Club meeting is usually 2nd Thursday of the month. Bring her with you, if you can, and we can all say hi.
Don't forget to start your own build thread in the 60 forum and send me a pic of that VCV/VSV or whatever it is and I will see if I have one rattling around in my parts drawer..
