Hello everyone,
I used to own a 2008 LC200 and later a 2016 LC200, and honestly I never had anything to complain about. They’re some of the best cars out there, especially for the Middle East/MENA.
But I’ve always wanted an LC100 or LX470, preferably a 2006–2007. The problem is that back home it’s almost impossible to find a clean, low-mileage one, and when you do find one, they usually want a fortune for it.
Anyway, I’m currently working abroad, outside the region, and I finally came across this 2006 LX470 with around 90k miles, so I decided to go for it.
The interior isn’t in the best condition, but overall the car looks really nice. First thing I did was take it straight to the dealer for a major service and full inspection. They told me the car is clean and basically ready to drive wherever I want, which was great to hear.
After that, the spending started
New tires, which you can see in the photos, then a full detailing job that took 3 days, plus 25% window tint. I also just ordered a Teyes CC4 because let’s be serious… nobody can live with that original screen in 2026
Next on the list is a set of 1-inch spacers, New headlights modified oem better with HID if possible (If any one have suggestions i appreciate it) then just some small touches here and there.
My only concern is that where I’m currently living, garages don’t really know these cars the way garages back in the Middle East do. Parts are also not as easy to find, so that makes things a little more difficult.
But I’m trying my best to bring this LX back to life and enjoy it the way it should be enjoyed.
