Thanks for posting, I'm surprised the 100 coils didn't drop pressures significantly lower, what do you estimate the net difference in your weight is? A couple of turns on the TBs to get the front pressure down will also be beneficial for the rear and should improve overall ride and damping. 6.8 MPa rear can't be comfortable - but at least it's functional and that's good. Did you tweak the height sensors?

I like your truck, including those sliders. I'm going to look into a set of Metal Tech. A couple months ago, I bought an '01 in the same color, Vapor Blue Metallic. I think it's an awesome truck color, takes on different tones as it reflects the changing sky. The color actually reminds me of a Montana sky at dusk, kind of blue, silver, and violet. The AHC on my truck is still going strong but I haven't added weight. Having read about your experience, I might stay away from a heavy bumper unless I ditch the AHC.

BIO rear bumper + 140 lbs
MetalTech sliders + 140 lbs

Did not adjust the height sensors or torsion bars. I think you're right about making some adjustment to the torsion bars.

Anyone know the size of the TB adjustment bolt? Is it 30mm?

Since my 80 series departed, I was on the look out to find another Land Cruiser. After checking out several, I picked up this 2004 LX 470 in Blue Vapor Metallic. It has 85k miles and all documented dealer maintenance, including the 90k service!

It will need new tires soon and am leaning towards Goodyear Silent Armor 275/65/18.

Also going to buy Metal Tech sliders during their Cyber Monday sale. If anyone in the DC area is looking to buy anything from MetalTech hit me up so we can save on shipping! I posted a thread about it here .

Also thinking about getting a set of Weathertech floor liners but I'm debating between tan or black.

Anyhow, enjoy the photos of my stock 100. The automatic height control seems to be within specs from what I've read.

Nice build in progress. Based on your three pictures (L,N,H). My 2000 LX470 AHC is non-functional at least manually, what mode would you say my lx470 is in? I'm thinking Normal? I have 265/R75 16 BFG AT's on, Just curious, plan to go with a Slee 1.5" lift with diff drop next month.

Hard to guess the height of your vehicle, if you measure fender bottom to centre of the wheel cap stock N height should be close to 19.75 inch front and 20.5 inch rear. H and L from N as per this image.

Thanks my AHC is stuck in normal, which is probably best until I get it replaced.
