Hi guys! New to the forum and just recently purchased a 2011 land cruiser. I've been researching about lift kits and cant seem to find any info on the OME -200K Complete lift kit from toytec. Does anyone have any experience with them and if so can you provide photos? Thank you guys so much and I will continue to provide updates as this build continues.

lots of people have OME BP-51 suspension. I’m having it installed on my build right now. No experience with that particular vendor. Forum member @Eric Sarjeant is a Toyota dealer and keeps them in stock.

oh great! ya ive seen most people on here are on the bp-51 but OME BP 51 is out of my modding budget.

That's your "standard OME" kit, lots of people on here have that kit installed. But please don't buy it from Toytec, there are a number of vendors on here who are active and provide great info and support to this community. Give Slee Offroad or Cruiser Outfitters a call, not only will they sell you the kit but ask questions and make sure you're making an informed purchase (spring selection, whether you should add UCAs, etc...). And those aren't the only two so my apologies if I didn't list ALL of the possible vendors but those I know have the kit you're looking for.

Edit: there are also endless threads about lift kits, if you click search, change "everywhere" to "this forum" and search for "standard OME" you'll find a ton. Here's the most recent: OME Standard Nitrocharger Sport vs BP-51 Setup

Ironman Foam shocks are better than OME Sports. Metaltech who is a sponsor sells them.

I just installed the “ standard“ OME kit, Nitrocharger Sport shocks with 2702 springs in the front, 2722 in the rear. Like you, I weighed use case, budget, and future mod considerations. After a brief discussion with @sleeoffroad this is where I landed. Couldn’t be happier. My truck is a 2010 LC that I’ve put 173k on the clock thus far, and the stock suspension was a bit tired. The ride and handling are vastly improved. And as my build plans have evolved to go more of a weight conscious route I think this set up will handle pretty much all I care to throw at it.

thats great to hear, do you have photos of the lift?

@stithis Funny, after you asked I realized I hadn’t taken a photo since the lift went on. Had to pull over and snap a quickie. The lift has been on for about four weeks, so the springs have settled in. Was a bit higher when first installed.

Oh awesome! What tire size did u go with?? Were upper control arm needed?
Tires are 285/65/18 KO2’s on stock wheels with Spidertrax spacers. Tires have about 45-50k on them, may try to get through to the first of the year before I get new shoes....we shall see. I had heard / read that you could get away without replacing the upper control arms on a 2-2 1/2” lift, so I gambled and elected not to replace. The tech that did my install had a lot of experience on lifted trucks and was able to get my alignment dialed in without any issues. Drives as great as it ever has.

Love your setup man! Any rubbing issues??
Had a slight rub on the front mud flaps pre lift. With a little heat / trimming that was cured. Post lift no issues. When I put on new tires I’m “probably” going up a size, 285/70/18, and will most likely have to do a little massaging inside the wheel well liners.

Do you ever tow? I face the same decision that you made and I will tow (10% of the time) a 6500 lb trailer with maybe 800 lb tongue weight. Would that have sent you over to the BP-51s?
