Purchased my 2006 LX 470 in December 2025. This is my first LX. Previously owned 2012 and 2022 Sequoias, 2025 Highlander XSE and 2025 Sienna Woodland but now in the LX and it’s definitely my favorite vehicle to drive. I don’t plan on doing any off-roading. I have always wanted one and I want this to be my daily driver and family hauler and it will probably spend most weekends at my teens volleyball tournaments. It is what it is. Glad to join this community!

Can’t figure how to edit my thread. I do have a tech question. I had an independent shop unclog the ac drain and had them install new non LED low beams and a side marker since I had them in the car and I was there. Also had them check on a leak. I left the shop without knowing they forgot to reinstall the underbody covers. Later I noticed the fog light were not working as they were when I dropped it off. They are telling me the fuse popped and they replace it and that the new fuse melted in the box. Now some of the harness is melted, one low beam not working and wipers going off. They have not opened the fuse box. They are saying wire touched ground in fog light housing and caused this to happen. I think I took it in fine and they damaged my LX. Is this bad luck, coincidence or something they did? Should I let them continue to work on this or send it to Lexus to tell me what’s going on? I don’t trust the shop. Used to be a plus and went there for years but they have new owners for past year and the old people are gone. I think I’m getting hosed.

Great looking rig. What are the wheels?

I have no experience with Lexus dealers, but my '01 LX with 324k was a one-owner exclusively maintained by the local Lexus dealer. I am DONE with all Toyota dealers within 100 miles of me. Incompetent, awful, no-good, lying hacks the lot of them. So disappointing. I won't even take my '25 Camry to one of them for the Toyota-paid-for oil change; it's that bad.
