Didn't take any pictures of the mounting, but here are the out riggers. It helps to have access to all the metal tools you could ever ask for.

@chap79 very nice, it's pretty much what I think I'm going to do. I like an inch between the slider and the body so that when it hit's rock and flex's a little, it does not go into the body panel. I get enough dent's on my own! How did you do the connection? Did you just look for the most logical spot and weld up square stock?
 
I put three legs per slider to connect back to the frame with a gusset over the top for extra support. The slider legs are welded to a 1/4" backing plate that then was welded to the frame on the driver side. The passenger side uses a similar setup but I threaded some holes in another set of 3/8" plates, welded the plate to the frame, and the slider is bolted on to make it easier to mess with the exhaust if needed. All in all I had about $200 in material. DOM isn't as cheap as HREW.
