Well, the reason I went with the 285-65-18 is because my truck is still at stock height. My plan is to go to 305-65-18 once I add a lift. The stock wheels are et60 i believe and the methods I got, double standards, are et25.

Getting the 285's on Friday. Hopefully those will not rub on the UCA or the KDSS.
Guy at my local shop was having a hard time believing that Falken had a no questions ask return policy. I had to show him in the pamphlet he had in the shop. So he's just changing me for the difference in price not the remount and balance. Which was great.
My boss doesn't want me to spend money on a lift. She okayed the sliders and skids.

I mounted the 285-65-18 Wild Peaks on Method Double Standards et25 on my stock 2010 LC and they rub pretty badly on the mud flaps so my plan is to install the OEM front strut spacers and remove the mud flaps to hopefully stop the rubbing until I decide on and install a lift, i.e., thinking tough dog.

Got the 285/65/18 on stocks and the don't rubb at all. FINALLY. I have a nice LC. Let the build begin.....

Just remove the mud flaps. At +25 you probably have the same issue I have - the wider arc of the higher offset wheel is rubbing on the inner part of the mud flap, since the inside of the wheel well curve is non-linear. Removing the mud flap will probably fix it. Alternately you'll need to do some flap trimming. Remember that even though it may clear when turning the wheel while parked, when moving/turning you'll get body roll which will decrease the clearance a bit. Look for all the spots which are shiny that used to be dirty.

yeah, I'm driving it for a week or so to monitor where the rubbing is really occurring since I am waiting on a center cap that disappeared during shipment anyway. I will add the front spacers to level the truck a bit as well.
