Hello
I just want to introduce myself, I am new to the 200 class of trucks!!! I have never purchased a used truck in my last 25 years, but I couldn’t justify paying $70-90,000 for a new truck, so I did months of research and ended up with a 2013 LX 570, with 55,000 miles!!! The one thing I could use help with, is the previous owner did not leave the head-sets or control with the truck!?! Where can I find the replacement, it’s not that I use it, it’s that I want a complete truck!!

I am looking firward to this new form and the advice I will get!!!

Excellent choice! The headsets are easy to find on- line and inexpensive. I don’t know about the remote. But, if you don’t need them, put your money into something you will use. This forum can help you spend $1000s. :bounce:

Not that I want to do anything right now, but what are some of the Mods owners do to these trucks???

Welcome and congratulations! As for mods, probably best to read through the forum. Most important, though, is knowing how you intend to use your vehicle or what look you want. LOTs of ideas here. Some would say start with sliders because they intend to go offroad. (See @kreiten's post on the PNW crew doing Tahuya.). Others like the looks of a bumper while others expect to need and use a bumper and winch. Some (like me) remove the 3rd row (not so easy in the LX) and replace them with drawers (so we can camp out of the truck.). For many, the first "mod" is tires. But the best tires depends on your use case. A lift, either for better offroad clearance or looks or both) is also common but for those going offroad usually follows sliders and tires. Or you can go all in on Velcro like @Markuson! Just my humble opinion but unless you have had a similar vehicle and know how you'll be using it I would suggest taking your time. Now that you have it, your use cases may evolve!

Welcome and congrats! My suggestion would be to read through the build threads here and see what others have done. The main mods have already been touched on, wheels/tires, drawers, AHC lift mod, mats, sliders, roof rack, bumpers, winch, etc. I would take a few trips in it and see where it's shortcomings are for your individual needs and uses. Only you know how you intend to use it and what your needs are in regards to your hobbies and daily routine. For the most part a good set of tires, some sliders, and a roof rack will be more than the majority of people need.

BTW removing third row from 570 is the same as the TLC. The only extra step it to unclip a small harness at the seat base.

Good to know. I thought there had to be som electronics involved but I didn’t know what. The LC is super simple. So the 570 must be as well.
