New member - long time lurker!

Hello everyone!

Finally decided to make an account after lurking here for years. So much good info here, there's literally no reason why I didn't make an account earlier haha.

Little about me, not new to 80's, but still learning lots about them! I sold my white 80 awhile back and regret that decision, but ultimately it was to free up some funds to move my family back to CO. I set out to buy a cheap winter beater to get me through a couple months of harsh NE winter prior to moving to CO, but I stumbled across a great deal on a clean LX450 that needed some work. It had some exhaust issues, a CEL, and all 4 wheel ends were leaking. So, I had to get it! Within the last couple months I brought it back to life and got it roadworthy for the winter.
I have a 2.5" Icon lift and some 35's waiting to go on, but might wait until I get out to CO for those. As for right now, this thing is fantastic to drive all stock!

Here's my old white '96 LC. Sold to a Toyota guy that lives in Des Moines, so he might even be a member here!

And my new '96 LX450

How many miles on the LX?

I spent a lot of time driving between Olathe, KS (KC Area) and Fremont, NE from 8/2022 through 12/2023. I'm surprised I didn't see you somewhere..... I tried lots of different routes just to mix it up.

Thanks! I'm do my best keeping them as clean as I can haha. Thankfully we have a company here near Omaha that does fluid film so it helps preserve so long as you stay on top of it. The LX has just over 210k miles. Surprisingly the LX has been in Omaha its entire life, with very minimal frame rust. I'm pretty glad whoever owned it prior to me took such good care of it.

That's really cool though! I actually work for a company based in Fremont so I was always on highway 275, every now and again I'll see something neat.
