New Member Introduction

Hi Folks, New member joining from Kamloops BC. Currently driving a 2019 Tundra Pro, and looking at/for an FJ/BJ for a project. I have been looking at a few here in Western Canada. Any help our advice would be greatly appreciated. Vehicles for sale, good mechanics/restorers, tip sand tricks.

Welcome! Good luck on finding a cruiser, if I may make a suggestion, I would try and go for a B or H powered rig, over a F series. Also be sure when looking for a BC rig, to find one with a decent body- the mechanical stuff can always be sorted out relatively easily. I highly recommend joining Costal Cruisers on FB, most Land Cruisers end up there, that’s how I got mine. Or you could even talk to Steve at EBI Cruisers in Coquitlam, he’s got connections as well as John at RaddCruisers in Kamloops.

If you end up with a 40 series, Todd at Aqualu/Hardbodies in Kelowna is a a great source for replacement tubs and sheetmetal. He’s also a genius 40 builder and has plenty of knowledge on them. He might even know of a project for you.
