I was preparing to reinvigorate my 06 Xterra with a titan swap but at almost 200k on the odo, I figured it didn't have too many miles left on it since I was also using it as my commuter. I took my big bonus check and started looking for something new, something like what I used to have: a manual transmission Jeep TJ. Found a couple, drove them and they were fun but not nearly as big inside or as comfortable as a remembered. Then this beautiful 2006 LX470 with 190k came on the market and after talking with the owner, I knew it had been taken care of. Fluids changed on time, timing belt/water pump with 8k left on the clock, new tires, arb front bumper, hydraulic system removed, Icon shocks, ome torsion bars and rear springs, roof rack, rear drawer system with ARB fridge on slider, CB radio installed. It was too good to pass up. I bought it, brought it home and am working to zero everything out.
On my maintenance plan for baselining...
New fluids including a transmission flush
New intake and cab filters
90 k: New water pump, timing and serpentine belts, new timing belt idlers, new timing belt tensioner, cam and crank seals, thermostat
