sorry to here that if i could not work on my truck well they would just have to do another type of brain surgery to me. who is doing the work? if it is a shop are they reputable? the shop that works on the wife's daily driver will not use any thing from auto zone. so he will put it on for you but there will not be any warranty. so if you have to pay labor make sure you know this up front. if this is the case you might just let him use his part supplier or go to a shop that will use all Toyota parts. another option is get the good stuff and have a buddy do the work for some beer. don't give the beer till the truck runs. i think every one can work on there own vehicle if they get the right manuals. i have realized that is not true. good luck.

yeah i know what you mean, i'll be looking around more once i get my front end kit from ted, find one that can take the head off while im there so i can see for my self (shop), my grandpa has had them do work for him in the past with no issues and fair price. all i got from advance was the felpro gasket set and head bolts. my therm is still new and works , valve cover is brand new, but i'm replacing the studs wish i could afford to put in a new engine but i've got limited cash for now. most of my freinds dont even know how to work on a car. man if i woulda had the whole tumor removed i wouldn't even be able to move for the rest of my life

Dedication. It's what it takes to get back on your feet to. As long as you aren't damaging things, keep pushing your limits. I've been there. I was way too close to the epicenter of a high intensity shock wave. Concussion wave damage throughly scrambled my brains but enough was left that I could relearn almost everything. Had 1.5 years of intense rehab. There was a period I couldn't remember anything before the blast, but it slowly came back over the years. Thankfully the brain and is quite plastic and other areas can step in and take over. It just takes time and training, and you must do the training. Use it or lose it is very applicable. If you don't try to do something, the brain will never try to wire or rewire it's self up to do it.
