Just joined and happy to be here. I'm on my third lx470 in a couple of years. Learning the hard way how to find a keeper as a daily driver. I recently had a really an embarrassingly bad experience with 4x4 Rides in Maryland and am trying to find anyone that can give me some insight on getting my money back.

Sorry to hear about your experience with 4x4 rides. I had a new mud member come by my house about 2 years ago so I could help him look over his new purchase. He bought it from 4x4 rides and it was a mess. Just more issues and misrepresentations than I can list. That's my only experience with them but I was not impressed.

Don't have any advice for getting money back. Might be worth talking to an attorney but if vehicle sold as is and passed state safety inspection it can be a tough road. Of course if they sold it as passing state safety but it has major safety issues, maybe that's an angle to take? Unfortunately there are more than a handful of dealers in this area that love throwing lipstick on a pig.

I too had a terrible experience with the seller at 4 x 4 rides. Purchased through cars and bids auction a couple of years ago. Misrepresentation in the description, followed by outright lies during the phone conversations prior to placing winning bids. Just a mess all around. I have sorted through it, and the cost has been easily double what I paid.
