Finally concluded my search for a proper 200. After being in a 06 LX470 and going through a nasty repair process (cats, ECU, etc), I sold it after 6 months of unsatisfactory ownership. I set my eyes on a 200 series -- Land Cruiser or LX570 --. My dealer buddy bought a Manheim auction 2013 Land Cruiser -- 106k miles, fair condition -- with the understanding that if I didn't like it he would put it on the lot to sell. Not having much luck finding a 200 in better condition I was set to buy it knowing that I would have to spend some $$ getting it in the shape I wanted. As I passed another lot I spotted a LX570 that looked to be in decent shape. It was a 2015 w/ 63k miles. Everything inside/out was clean and straight. Regular service was well documented. 45 minutes later I am the new owner. Great community you have here, by the way...
