What wire do i run into the crossover, the one that goes to the woofer? or what? im not sure i have a 2003 lc, i am going to be using the existing head unit, just looking to upgrade the speaker, i plan on putting the new tweaters in the stock location.

When we did mine, Polk Momo components, the signal to both tweeter and mid range are the same signal. If you look at the OE tweeter there is a filter/resister that filters out the lows. I just used the woofer/mid range wire.

ok, now did you run a new wire from the crossover to the tweater or can you use the existing wire to the tweater? if i make it connect it to the crossover?

also does the wire to the woofer/mid range have a filter on it that has to be removed or anything?

Woofer signal is full range. I did run a new wire to the MOMO tweeter from the cross over.

Just installed some infinity kappa component speakers in the front, and infiniti kappa two ways in the back doors. had to trim the door panel holes for the speakers a bit larger, but the sound is amazing. im still running them off the stock navigation/sound system. now just need to work on the sub, thinking about just adding one 12 inch and a speaker level amp and just take the wire out of the stock sub and run it into the amp and sub. it will really fill out the low end then. but it sounds amazing right now.
