A few weeks ago a customer of mine reached out asking if I had any rear wiper assemblies lying around.
He said his had broken somehow which was hard to picture until he removed the assembly and showed me these photos.
From a 2004 Lexus LX470:

Out of curiosity I removed the rear wiper motor bracket from my 1999 Lexus LX470 to check it and voila...

A micro-fracture was created during the stamping process of this bracket.
Over time it gets accentuated until it finally breaks completely.

I whipped up a prototype for my customer and decided to turn it into a production part after an iteration or two.
The OEM bracket is unfortunately part of the assembly 85080-60170 "Motor & Bracket Assy, Rear Wiper" so a faulty, OE replacement was not in the cards unless willing to pay $200+ for the motor and bracket.

The Cruiser Patch bracket is CNC cut & bent from 1.6mm chromoly steel, powder coated satin black with OE fitment and superior strength.
Users may even notice a slight improvement in wiper stability compared to the original, especially if it was beginning to crack.

The new brackets re-use the OE hardware and bushings.
It's a bit tight to uninstall the old bracket from the motor in the hatch but it can be done with some patience and dedication.
I'll make a how-to video sooner or later.

These brackets are made here in the USA and come with a lifetime warranty from Cruiser Patch:
