. But I can be a spaz:whoops: when it comes to these type of repairs.

Well, its out. 268,xxx miles of oil, grease, road grime etc... I decided to make it worth it and take the trans to my friend Kevin at Carson Valley Transmission on Monday. He is going to go through it and replace all seals and gaskets.
Not sure what was leaking more, the transfer case or the rear main. Will also be ordering a new oil pan gasket set. I figure while its out, go all the way and be good for the summer. I will try to document the reassembly, the underside of that car was no place for a camera, chiseling through the grime to find bolt heads was no place for me.

but there isn't even a drop in the driveway after 3 days!! Here are some before and after pics as well as some detailed pics of the rear main removed and installed. I did do a little dress-up in addition to the cleaning. There were two particularly difficult parts of this project, the rest was just turning bolts.
