New classifieds: How to turn off alerts?

Hi Woody,

I seem to be getting alerts for every new classified ad posted, even though I've done my best to turn off everything in my preferences. Am I missing something?

You mean the red number notification? That will disappear in a day or two....or maybe yet tonight. I keep thinking it's user selectable....just need to chase down the "off" switch for it.

found it in Preferences, under Content Options
search > Show new items indicator on classifieds tab and un-check it.
