Automakers and their dealers in Europe are losing sales because of a failure to act upon test-drive requests from Internet shoppers, a survey shows.

Yup. Lots of people impulse buy vehicles (I've done it). The fact that not all dealerships have a dedicated internet sales-person (just to answer emails/requests) shows that they're not in touch with the times. The other way to look at it is that if you want to test-drive a car....get your lazy ass off the couch and drive down to a dealership.
