Well it's been sitting in the garage for 2 week and finally put it on.

Gentex K21, autodim mirror with compass and outside temp.
$179 on eBay with free shipping.
Went to my auto glass shop and they charged me $5 to glue a button on my windshield. The rest was pretty easy:banana:

Run hot and ground from overhead console.
Then run a wire with the temp prob along and under the headliner down through the fire wall on to the front bumper. About 90 minutes total time.

So far I love it. Great to know the outside temp to look for ice etc.

Now I need to find something to do with those 2 screws left from the OEM mirror.

jditom- awesome install!

Some questions:

1. Does this mirror display compass readings and temp. at the same time?
2. Does it display the above info. all the time (without having to press any buttons)?
3. Can you please list which model of mirror and which adapter (if any) you purchased with the mirror?
4. Can you post a link to the seller?

Do your visors clear the mirror when they're down?

Yes compass and temp at same time.
No button to press unless you want them not to display then you hit the button to turn them off.
I have the K21 below is where I got it.
They were suppose to send me the button free but they forgot.
I was going to glue it myself but I am glad I did not.
My autoglass guy told me that the glue they use will never ware out and for $5 he had a box full of buttons. He found the right one and it was mounted.
Mirror does not hit the visors but could if you install it badly:doh:

My only mistake was taping into the overhead console for power. I could not find a noncontinous power up there so my mirror is on all the time unless I hit the off button.
So I will reroute to the fuse box tonight so the miror will turn off when the key is off.
