Hello All!

I recently acquired my first Land Cruiser, having most recently, previously owned a 2nd Gen Xterra and a JKU Wrangler.
The Xterra was a fantastic overland rig, it took me and my family on some epic trips, but there was minimal aftermarket and it started to struggle on the more technical trails, keeping up with jeeps. That lead me to the obvious decision to pick up a JKU, and hit the harder trails.

Harder trails were great, but overlanding suffered, as did general comfort, daily driving a modified Jeep.
With that, I went back to the drawing board, picked up something more comfortable to daily and decided the overland and wheeling rig would be a weekend car at most.
I considered a number of options and ended up with the 80 Series Cruiser having all the best of both world features from my two previous rigs.
With the hunt on, I found a 93 for a good price that seemed decently well sorted.

After diving in, it does certainly need some love and has a few issues to correct. I plan to fully leverage the forums here and my proximity to Overland Cruiser to get this rig back in top form. After that, its time to retread some former adventures like the White Rim Road in Moab, the Mojave Road, and Anza-Borrego in California. Then on to some new adventures for me like Black Bear Pass and eventually I would love to run the Dalton Highway up to Prudhoe Bay.

One of the things on my fix list... is just about every rubber bit in the suspension.
I believe a complete lift kit should cover me here. Looking at ExitOffroad and DeltaVS, I think I came up with a shopping list that should just about fully refresh everything.

Anything here I'm doubled up on or wiser choices I could make? My initial plan is a 3" Lift, 315/75R16's, and as much flex and I can manage.
I think the Metric 35" and 3" Lift is pretty much a standard package, but would love any comments or feedback.

Just a word of caution, if you want 3” lift and you get Dobinsons suspension, get a lift that they advertise as 2-2.5”.

I have full armor, winch etc, and their 2.5” lift kit is actually more than 3”. Some people report even crazier numbers if they’re on the lighter side ie. I’ve seen 2.5” lift kits yielding over 4” of lift for alot of folks here.

I also got all my stuff from Exit Off-road, they’re very helpful. Email Mike over there first before ordering to make sure you’re getting the right stuff.

I appreciate that. Exitoffroad having example photos on the site heavily impacted my decision. This was the general look I'm going for. I will certainly keep in mind before I pull the trigger on ordering. I'm assuming some tax season sales so I have time to properly plan things out.

Love your truck.

1st mod would be since your in AZ is the blue fan clutch with thicker oil...15K.
I agree with Kabanstva regarding coils. Get 2" and use coil spacers as needed. Staying under 3" will save you $ and perhaps other issue that may arise with 3+" of lift.
1st pic is Dobs 2" with 20mm spacers (2.5ish) lift
2nd pic is just recently installed Terrain Tamer 2" that netted me 3.25" lift
