Hello All!
I recently acquired my first Land Cruiser, having most recently, previously owned a 2nd Gen Xterra and a JKU Wrangler.
The Xterra was a fantastic overland rig, it took me and my family on some epic trips, but there was minimal aftermarket and it started to struggle on the more technical trails, keeping up with jeeps. That lead me to the obvious decision to pick up a JKU, and hit the harder trails.
Harder trails were great, but overlanding suffered, as did general comfort, daily driving a modified Jeep.
With that, I went back to the drawing board, picked up something more comfortable to daily and decided the overland and wheeling rig would be a weekend car at most.
I considered a number of options and ended up with the 80 Series Cruiser having all the best of both world features from my two previous rigs.
With the hunt on, I found a 93 for a good price that seemed decently well sorted.

What ended up coming home with me:
And how it looks now:
After diving in, it does certainly need some love and has a few issues to correct. I plan to fully leverage the forums here and my proximity to Overland Cruiser to get this rig back in top form. After that, its time to retread some former adventures like the White Rim Road in Moab, the Mojave Road, and Anza-Borrego in California. Then on to some new adventures for me like Black Bear Pass and eventually I would love to run the Dalton Highway up to Prudhoe Bay.
