Yeah, I bought it. 4k is pretty reasonable for my state. I barely see these much less ones for sale. If I could find a reasonably priced tub I would buy it. But I personally like battle scars. From rebuilding several HD's, this is my philosophy....if its not going to end up in a museum, do not sweat anything that is not directly related to the mechanics of the machine. In other words, this is going to be a utility piece. For me, it does not bother me to have Aluninum in the floor boards. It keeps me from falling through ( :
