So I was asked to post up a pic of my new 2020, so here ya go:

So my story in a nutshell:

I live in the Maryland currently. I no longer need to live in the DC area for work, so I'm buggin outta here. My oldest graduates from high school in May, and my youngest (freshman in high school right now) is excited about making a move. I family have near Pikes Peak area, so I'm planning to move my family out to Colorado this summer. We are looking in the Gunnison County area (probably up CB way). With that in mind, I currently have a Cadillac ATS, and a CTS-V, which won't really translate well to that area, so I set out to find a new vehicle.

I had a 100k budget, for a new truck. I was all over the place on what I looked at: Ford Raptor, Jeep Gladiator, Range Rover, Lightly Used G-Wagon and LX/LC. I went and drove them all, and they were all actually quite nice. I know I wanted to do some modding (my CTS-V is hella modded) and have a competent off roader, which had me leaning towards the Jeep. What ended up swinging me towards the cruiser was:
1) If I move to CB, its like 3+ hours to get to a dealership, so I needed something reliable (Jeep and RR are shakier here)
2) Moving to a smaller town, I wanted to cut back on the "douche" factor (i.e. G-Wagon and RR are out)
3) I've always enjoyed more low key cars. I had a CTS-V Wagon for a while (still have my first gen CTS-V), and it was the ultimate sleeper. I very much enjoyed being under the radar. The LX *did not* fit that mold, with that hideous "LOOK AT ME" snout. Same with basically all the other vehicles in one way or another.
4) I just got rid of an Explorer. It was my first and last Ford. What a POS.

So I ended up buying the LC200: Crazy reliability, some ability to Mod, low key looks, very capable.

Had the dealer throw in an Icon 3.0 Stage 1, and some Ridge Grapplers (285/70/R18) as a place to start. Still trying to figure out what I want to do to it. Not super keen on the OEM rims, but may get some mild offroad mods first (some sliders?)

Anyway, so far this place has been a tremendous resource!

!Congrats! and thanks for posting up the pic and why you chose it. If that’s the Onyx Blue(hard to tell with lighting) you picked a great color. I love mine. I’m from the Boulder area and very familiar with CB and most of the front range. I would highly recommend Slee Sliders, Maxx Traxs, onboard air, bumper and winch for the the heavy “deep” snow you will encounter in CB and don’t want to be stuck without help. You made the best choice in my opinion for a mountain wagon. Enjoy!

Good info. Thanks for the reply.

Regrading color, it's black. I may need to do a ceramic coat to live with the black. Nothing looks better than black, when it's perfectly clean, but........

I would definitely do a ceramic coat for black.
