I just thought I would post this guys info, as he did an excellent job at a very fair price. His name is Mike Beno, the company is "Carburetors that work". He has rebushed the primary throttle shaft on two of aisin carbs (FJ60 and tercel 4x4 wagon). He does great work, and turns things around in less than a week. He charged me $50 each carb base, and I paid shipping both ways. He is really friendly, and willing to share carb knowledge. He guessed the mileage on my tercel carb based on the amount play. I was impressed. Anyway, I hope he gets some more business.

Here is his info:

BTW, if you have rebuilt your carb and still have idle issues, check the primary throttle shaft for play. Crack it just off idle and see if there is play in the shaft. If so, a rebush job should provide a noticeable increase in smooth idle. Can also check with carb spray while engine is running.

The guy above is still able to work on carbs. 2-3 day turn around, $60 now. Very nice and willing to explain his procedure. Will also resurface it. I just spoke with him today.
