I've got two diesel motors with trans sitting on separate pallets in Saint Marys 45885 that I need to find transport to Long Beach 90805.

Timing is flexible

Pickup: residential, no dock high
Drop off: commercial with pallet jack, no dock high

Gonna need a forklift

You are going to have to arrange for a forklift to
load and unload the pallets ......

Spoke with the seller yesterday: he's going to palletize both motors/trans onto a single pallet under some sort of a durable hard plastic container, and have it moved to his work where he's got a forklift. He described it but I didn't quite understand the container he was describing.

So as of now:

Freight: single pallet weighing approximately 1700 lbs (two motors with trans)

Timing: still flexible

Origination: commercial, with forklift
Destination: commercial, without forklift, but have pallet jack

Single pallet not a good idea ...

Just FYI ...

Single pallet with that much weight is not a good idea ...

Too much weight for most forklifts,
you can't get the forks far enough under
the pallet to keep the forklift from tipping forward.

Most forklifts use extensons on the forks to be able
to load onto the side of a trailer - you have to
reach across the trailer deck to load & unload.

Better to have the load split among (3) pallets.

If you get he load on (3) pallets ...

Good point. I'll make sure to bring it to the seller's attention. Thx

If you get the load on (3) pallets - if they are drained of all
fluids & not leaking - if they are bolted or banded to the
pallets or skids - if you can fork the pallets or skids on & off
a trailer ......

Send me a PM if you buy these and I will shoot you a price
for enclosed transport (subject to availability)
