I know that this is probably like asking me how do you fix a computer!!
But

How can you tell when paint is the correct consistency to spry through a gun.
I am spraying about 50PSI with a gravity fed gun.

Some one told me that you cannot make acrylic too thin. Is that true???
With Enamal how thin is too thin???

Any help would be appreciated

(I know thats why spray painters are spray painters but u gotta learn somehow!!!)

I would start at a lower pressure and try it on a something else before you spray it on your cruiser (I'm guessing this is what your tryng to paint if it's acrylic latex then I've only sprayed that with an airless sprayer because I've been told it doesn't spray well with air). Your paint should tell you how much it can be thinned. Try adjusting the fan and volume. I found my gun sprays best at 40 to 45 psi.
