Need Speedo Help

The speedo goes straight to 90 MPH from start up and remains there, no matter how fast or slow I go. It's a 92 Toyota Pickup 4x4 with the 22RE. Not sure if I should start with the gear that goes into the transfer case, the cable, or the cluster, thanks.

Hmmm well I'd start troubleshooting by removing the speedo cable from your t case, then fire your truck up and see the results. I'm not sure if your model is mechanical speedo or not. Sounds like your problem is the speedo itself but again I'm not familiar with the early 90s speedos well enough to know if they are mechanical or not...
