Need some BJ70 part numbers

Working on my new to me 85 BJ70. It's a great truck and my first step into the diesel community. Have a couple of issues with the truck, mostly minor. Had to install a new diaphragm into the fuel injection governor- not a pleasant task but it's done and now idles fine.

The EDIC on my truck wasn't hooked up either mechanically or electrically. I removed it temporarily when replacing the diaphragm and am going to test it out on the bench. What I am lacking is the rod that goes from the ball on the EDIC to the flapper on the fuel injection pump. Anyone either have a used one they can sell me or can you give me the Toyota part number so I can order new? The Toy dealer I buy my parts from here in PA doesn't have the diesel trucks in his parts database. Can anyone help?

I also need the part number for the engine speed control cable assembly. Mine is broken and unrepairable, I'd like to buy a new one to replace it. Can anyone supply the part number for this cable assembly? Could also use the part numbers for the oil and fuel filters if someone has them handy. Thanks, Shmukster in PA

I have a speed control cable from my BJ70 (hand throttle and go pedal right?).

Many good part numbers found here:
NAPA Gold/WIX numbers:
Oil Filter - NGF 1515MP (Cross reference to a Fram PH8A).
Fuel Filter - NGF 3393 (May use NGF 3386 for a 3B).
Air Filter - NGF 2159.

Also a really good filter is the Purolator #30001

I believe the part # you are looking for is 84580-36021 check with your Toyota dealer it is listed as still a good part #. Good luck, Jim.

We got all the Toyota part# for all models at the top of the forum in the stickys
