I'm wait on a new inner axle seal from cruiserparts.com which I ordered over a week ago. I need this seal to put my cruiser back together so I can get back to school on Monday. I live in the Raleigh/Durham area of NC. I'm asking if anyone in the area has this seal, a front inner axle seal on an 84 FJ-60, and is in the area. I don't mind driving a few hours Sunday or even tonight. I really need this part before Monday! :eek:

I could pay you for it or I could send you mine when I recieve it. Again any help with this would be Greatly appreciated!

my local advance carrys them in stock.give me your zip i can maybe find one in your area .BUT when you get a oem seal put it in and toss the advance seal.but there ok in a tight pinch

I've checked most of the parts dealers in the area and they couldn't get me one in any less than a week.

call 919 596 4905 or go to 5114 wake forest rd to advace and order # there part 710070,call now before 4 and tell them your on your way to pay or pay by phone.it really needs to be in before 4 to get it tommorrow
 
Ok, just got off the phone with them and they can have the seal by tomorrow. Thanks a lot. I'll just have to go there before 8PM to pay for it which isn't a problem. Thats weird cause I talked to an Advanced before and they told me it was 7 days at the earliest but whatever. Thanks alot for your help! :D

sorry yea it was 8:o .they may tell you that because the sales was lazy.happends alot,or the oem seal may take that long.they listed 2 different ones,i checked there local warehouse ;) a freind i know works for advance,so they could not lie to me:cool:
 
I just got back from Advanced and the guy there said it wasn't the right seal that you told me to order, but I had him order it anyway. He found the right seal but he couldn't get it. He measured the seal that I brought with me and it was the same as the one you told me to order. I'll get it tomorrow but I'm confident it is the right one.

Whats the deal with that? Is it the same thing just a different number?

i went by the online website and made sure the warehouse had it:confused: unless they have the wrong part #listed i spoke to a lady she also said it was the right part.dam i hope they have no ---- up.go on there site and you will see what im talking about.i will also go back and look.sorry i had to step out for awhile
