Hi all. So I got the CEL Christmas tree of lights and I plugged in a scanner and got a P2714 code. The GX transmission was shifting hard when downshifting/kickdown in traffic or when shifting into Reverse. Took it to my mechanic and had the transmission fluid drained and filled, but code came back a few weeks after.
I’ve read through all the forum posts but lack the skills to diagnose or take apart the transmission fluid on my own.
Anyone here can recommend a good/trustworthy transmission shop that can help me? NYC area, Queens or Nassau County preferred. Or should I just take it to a dealership and replace the transmission and call it a day?
