Hey there,

I have BP51's/upgraded upper control arms and the dealer can't get a correct alignment. Still have some positive camber in front. Can someone recommend a shop that could help get the truck to a neutral or a little negative front camber?

Thanks!

I have had good success with each of the below for my GX with aftermarket UCAs and lift. You will get the best personalized service with Tandem, but it may be a bit out of your way if you are on the Dallas side of town like me.

Dallas Brake and Alignment on Market Center Blvd.
Tandem Automotive on Layton Ave in Haltom City (specialize in off-road Toyota and Lexus models)
Baertrax in Dallas has a shop close by that does alignments for them, but I don't know who it is.

I am at a place called Truxx Outfitters in Lewisville right now. They are installing the Radflo kit for me. They seem very competent and were concerned about the KDSS and approached the issue very professionally. It should be done shortly, but it seems they have a good work ethic and large knowledge base here. I will update with how everything goes, and how well alignment ends up.

Thank you for the info.

This place is near my office. I'd be interested in more of your impressions on their Toyota knowledge.

They ended up outsourcing the alignment, which sucked and I’m getting it redone today. However, they had no experience with LC200 before. I brought the OME KDSS tips sheet, TIS torque value diagram, and have a through briefing on KDSS valve operation with help from BudBuilt on speaker phone. They absolutely listened to everything I said, and really took their time with the install. All in, took 4 hours for front and rear coilovers/suspension and UCA’s. I went under the truck last night, everything is tight, clean, and no knocks, bumps or squeaks driving it down my local service road with some huge whoops.

They had pretty good knowledge with 4Runners and Tundras, but the low sales volume LC was new. One of their guys, Eric, was a former tech at a Lexus dealer and seemed knowledgeable about the systems. The team let me watch and take the occasional peek during install. Everything came out perfect and service with a smile. I’m extremely OCD about most stuff, so that should say a lot. Usually I’m very harsh.

Good info, thanks.

Okay! Just wanted to report back. I went to my track mechanics, Doghouse Performance to get my alignment done properly. The truck in driving better than ever. I can't recommend those guys enough. They do a great job.
