...All of that is to say, it doesn’t hurt to have a spare fuel pump in the give box.

I do. When my fuel pump went bad a couple years ago I replaced with a Delphi and it has worked fine so far. Was your bad pump the original?

No, I replaced it with oem about 18 months ago… I suspect that it was janky from the start… the cheapo Amazon pump works like a champ… but I’ll be replacing it with another oem pump in the next week or so… the Amazon pump and assembly will be trail spares.

I’m curious: Did your original pump die or were you replacing just because it was old?
