The only problem with that is if someone hits you, and they see that, they can sue you and claim its your fault because the brakes have been modified in a manner not approved by the DOT and it can end up being your fault. Lawyers suck.

I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make any sense to me at all. With your logic, then the stainless lines would also not be approved.

And the average lawyer is an idiot when it comes to vehicles. Present company excluded of course. :D

Two DOT approved lines threaded together is now unapproved? I doubt that very much and I care even less.
