Need New Remote

A Few months ago my Dad was cutting trees and it started to pour. He was using my Jeep and when he was done he forgot to unhook the remote and ran it over, crushing it:whoops:. My ? is where can I find a replacement control for a Smittybilt XRC8.

You could purchase a wireless remote at most any auto parts store. They run less than $50. It comes with a fob that you can wear around your neck.

So now you can run your winch from anywhere around the car.

The receiver has relays that you wire in to energise the existing solenoids. There is no need to deal with the plug

I'm Sure my Dad can do that or I might could. Can you send me a link to one. because most of the ones I've seen are only compatible with certain winches they say.

A relay is a relay.

You run 12 positive through the normally open receiver relay contact to the "out" solenoids 12 volt positive terminal.

You run 12 VDC positive through the other receiver N.O. contact to the "In" solenoids.
