Need help with lockers

Well I finally got the 80 from my dad and just as I suspected the lockers dont work. I went on a ride a couple months ago and got the center diff to work but neither front nor rear would lock up. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks

Endless threads on this. Try searching here in the 80 tech, you will find everything from simple fixes to complete rebuilds and how to diagnose.

EDIT: its good the center locks, its will need to be locked before the F&R will. Be sure your try it on dirt or loose surface and drive in figure 8's. Do the F&R lights on your console just flash?

Yeah the frront are rear just flash on and off.

Keep driving is circles / 8's until they click on. If after a long period of time they don't then you will have to dig deeper in the searches.

you can pull them apart, clean, lube and reassemble.
