I'm to the point where I measure the pounds needed to rotate the knuckle. I'm putting the scale on the knuckle arm and it measures way too little. I replaced the knuckle beerings. I have a medium shim on the bottom and a medium and big on the top. I do not have the sst tool to measure what size shims I should use. do I just try different sizes untill the pounds to rotate the knuckle are correct. I took out the medium on the top and the pounds were a lot better but only at 3lbs. what do i do? smaller on bottom? top? get sst tool to do it properly? can you rent it?
