DON'T call me a woman - this mod is in fact FOR a woman, my lovely wifey :-)

She feels that the 100 has a very long boned and sticky-out bumper and that this makes it hard for her to pull up accurately in tight spots (of which we have more in the UK than you guys in the US and Oz).

So anyway, I've been recommended these by Cobra in the UK:

and they look like:

I need a switch to turn them off (which I'm told this has) else it'll be madness pulling up at traffic lights etc.

Anything else I need to look out for?

I'd like the Toyota front/reverse kit but it costs 800 uk pounds just for the parts! I already have the factory fit reverse sensors and they work great.

Any of you guys who have the Yota ones fitted from stock? How are they and do you have a switch?

AFAIK, at least here, LC100s have only rear censors (I have them on my 100). I've never seem such sensors on the front of a 100 series. Not even on the LX470s. But other markets might have them.

some front OEM sensors on other vehicles are engaged only when the car is below 5KM/h or so. I've seen aftermarket ones locally with the same option and with an LCD that shows you the exact distance left in the front and rear. I don't have the brand name handy but I'm sure if you search on ebay etc. you'll find what you are looking for and probably for a good price.
