Need FJ60 Exhaust

So that 60 I bought needs a new exhaust system. It basically needs everything from the manifold back. I can't find anyone that sells the whole system. I can get the truck towed somewhere and have one made but it sure would be nice to just get a new system and install it saving the tow bill.

Anyone have any leads/ideas?

I second that thought, Tim needs a 60. Might be cheaper to have Tyler over, buy him a case of beer and appropriate his?

Otramm has a nice Stainless system they sell.

I don't think the Otramm system passes smog. I had a shop in Poway build mine. $1200 and a few years later it is rotting off.

Oh and I third Tim buying a 60 series!!! Maybe order up some 304 tube, harbor freight tube bender and some beers!

Otramm doesn't have their 60 kit yet but being in VA it is likely it won't be smog legal.

I have a ton of other things to fix on the truck so might just have to bite the bullet and tow it somewhere or see what I can find used.

Actually definitely sooner than Christmas since I paid the reg fees so the clock to smog it is ticking. So one option is actually this coming Saturday. My dad is coming over Saturday to help get the 60 more together. The next chance would be after Mojave.

If I had a down pipe with the smog pump plumbing I'd be way ahead. It would be loud AF but I'd probably then drive it to an exhaust shop.

Let me know if anyone is up for a wrench day this Saturday. If so, I will put a tri tip in the smoker and get the spa/pool warmed up for the after wrench R&R. If there is interest I can just put a thread for it.

Well, that meant more trips to the dmv, also I need a vin inspection which I have to pay for ifbi can't drive it to the dmv.

I did the Magnaflow direct fit cat and Manafre 2 1/2" cat back exhaust. I like it. Install was easy - all bolt on. Then you'd just need the pipe upstream of the cat (maybe this one https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/parts-list/1983-toyota-land-cruiser-wagon/exhaust-pipe.html)?

I think the factory muffler/tail pipe is still available too (17430-61170 - Genuine Toyota PIPE ASSY, EXHAUST, TAIL).

I saw that front pipe but the picture doesn't show the smog pump air injection tube. I will email them and see if it is there. If so that's a no brainer.

I'd be Ok with getting a better exhaust from the front pipe back, I just have a feeling that front pipe will cost a lot for the shop to fab up.

I spoke with the shop that did the exhaust on my 80. They aren't the cheapest but they did a great job so I figured I'd go back to them. They can do the whole system for about a grand so I figure I will just rent a trailer and tow the 60 over there.

I've had excellent and affordable experiences with my 95 LC exhaust repairs at Joor Muffler in Escondido. The welder there, Joel, is very good and will work to make your system as you want it. I had a major leak in the crotch of the V weld where the manifold headers collect in front of the front catalytic converter and every shop around proclaimed it to be unrepairable and would require and expensive replacement of the entire assembly. Not Joel; he removed the whole thing and rebuilt it better and stronger than new for a couple hundred dollars. Saved me a bundle. He can come off as a bit of a curmudgeon, but if you bear with him he's a good guy. I also had him replace both cats and O2 sensor mounts (bungs) with ones I supplied (courtesy of eBay) for about half of what other shops quoted.
