I've driven an MR2 as a cheap daily driver for the last eleven years. In my first 86, a white one, Anna and I ran into a deer two miles from home. Smashed it up pretty good. Had a Miata for two years after that then bought the current blue one off EBay five or six years ago. Supposedly a one owner car from New York City, had 75K on the clock when I bought it, it's at 96K now. Staring to rust at the driver rear wheelwell but I figure it has another year or two of life in it. Fun to drive and 33MPG to boot. lent it to Matt Reed for a few months two years ago when he needed a second vehicle. Bought the timing belt and associated parts with a Boston area Toyota dealer $250 gift certificate I won at the Fall Gathering two years ago. Been looking at later MR2 Spyders and may end up with one of them if I see one in good shape with reasonable mileage and price. Fun cars!
