Hi guys,
I could really use some help and hope this is the correct place on the forum to ask for it.
I have an 06 Gx470, factory trailer hitch wiring. I tow a car hauler with normal lights plus a few other l.e.d. lights. The leds are powered by a single wire with a toggle switch that is dedicated solely for them and is attached to the accessory plug on the 7 pin.
Here's the problem. When I plug in the 7 pin all my trailer lights work just fine. However, the accessory pin is getting no power. The leds used to work, I've re-wired them, checked the grounds, and still no luck. I've replaced the 30 and 40 amp front fuses and checked that both front relays work.
Is there an additional fuse that powers the accessory plug on the 7 pin under the hood, in the plug or somewhere in the rear wiring near the 7 pin?
Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks
Rick
