I'm looking to borrow a 80 grille for a 94-97. Needs to be for the yota and not the LX450. I'm working on custom old school emblems to replace the factory "sombrero". I need it for 1-2 days. I can toss in a free custom emblem of your choice and color if you can loan me the grille. Preferably be located in the IE area. I have all the emblems designed and all the mounting holes done. All I need to do is cut the slots in the correct spot to fit the yota grille. The LX450 has different thickness and a different amount of slots then the yota equivalent and I only own an LX. 1994 grille doesn't have the sombrero. The 1994 grille has Toyota on it.

Anyone have a number or email address for Dave (SoCalFJ)? I sent him a PM but I don't think he is on this forum too often. He's right around the corner from me and has the correct grille I'm looking for. I could probably just bring a chair, dial calipers, and my laptop and make all the measurements right there in his driveway without even removing the grille. I just don't want to do that without his concent. That would make for an awkward moment if I'm out in his driveway sizing up his special edition when he comes walking up without any clue as to what I'm doing. I knocked on his door a couple times but I think he has been out of town for a while.
I've noticed that Dave has vanished from many of the forums and only pops in once in a while now. Perhaps you can try his blog for contact info or perhaps try calling his business. I used to have his number, but somehow I can't seem to find it right now.

Sorry, I haven't checked this in a few days. I'm located in Forest Falls which is between Big Bear and Yucaipa on HWY 38. It looks like Beno is going to donate a grille to the cause. I'm gonna to talk with him later today to get it all figured out. Thanks guys for being willing to let me use your grille.
