Wanted Need a stock resonator - Anyone chopped theirs off and need to clean out your garage?

The tailpipe/tip fell off my resonator on a recent 30+ mile dirtroad trek. Without the tip directing the hot exhaust down, my bumper is half melted now too. The stock muffler and pipes are still in good shape, just need the resonator and the tailpipe post the resonator.

I've contemplated hacking mine off for clearance issues...What is the sound like without the resonator? I've heard that the "whistle" can be quite annoying.

Might be removing mine this or next week. I'll keep this in mind when removing it, making sure it's salvageable. I'll let you know. Don't quite yet know how I'm going to terminate it past the bumper w/o the resonator. (?)

If you need the PS plastic bumper part, I have one of those too. Used of course, small scratches complimentary.

Where do you live? Have a couple of resonators recently removed, but retaining them until the new exhaust is on, may reuse them. Have some bumper ends, they have trail rash, but are functional, your welcome to them.

I may be able to salvage the bumper corner by taking a dremel to it.
