Need a spindle

I got a free tandem torsion axle trailer with a bent spindle (it was a rollover.) We ground off the bead weld and beat the spindle out only to find that at least locally, there is no replacement spindle The stub that presses into the axle is 1 3/4" in diameter with no taper to it and the axle is rated at 3500# with a 6 on 5.5" pattern.
Anyone have a source for such a stub axle/spindle? The whole axle is $500

Get in touch with comp 4x4 if you can't find one. They can do a custom job for you. They do great work.

Well, checked out the sticky thread at the top and found Redneck Trailer Supply in Springfield, MO and ordered 2 spindles from them. The answer was right here all along.......
